The Cats come back

It seems America just can't get enough Cats. The Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, which played for 92 years on Broadway and has toured more than the Rolling Stones, hits Houston again just in time for the holidays — yes, yes, yes! We can hear you celebrating now!

Cats rolls into the Hobby Center tonight for a two-week run, so you can catch those crazy Jellicle cats (in case you were wondering: No, "Jellicle" doesn't seem to mean anything) over and over again. And if you're curious about exactly how the production comes to life, catch Theatre Under the Stars' workshop on makeup, songs and movement Saturday morning.

The worst part of this? We're not going to be able to get that song out of our heads. You know — yeah, that one. You can thank us later.

At the Hobby Center, Dec. 6-18: tickets and info
