MetroRail still delayed in Museum District

MetroRail service will be delayed during morning rush hour today as engineers test the soil underneath the light rail track at San Jacinto and Hermann Drive, where a water leak washed out track support late Sunday.

The city finished initial work on the broken water line this morning, but Metro wants to be sure the track is stable enough to resume service. The only station affected by the leak is the northbound Museum District platform, which remains closed. Passengers can board both northbound and southbound trains at the southbound Museum District platform on Fannin between Binz and Ewing.
