<description>&lt;p&gt;Good question. According to this open container law FAQ, &quot;If you are in a car with an open container of alcohol on a public road, you are breaking Texas law.&quot; So I suppose that applies to parades, too, regardless of permits.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;No one has explored the fact that it was a permitted parade.  You are allowed to brake other state laws while in a parade (most notably inspection requirements), is the beer-in-a-car regulation applicable?

Possible paradees everywhere need to know.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
