Houstonist wants you

So let's just say, for the sake of discussion, that you'd like to write for Houstonist. What, you would? Well, fantastic. We're always on the lookout for Houston experts: people who love to discover things about the city, foodies, local music buffs, people who keep up with Houston's art scene, sports lovers ... the list goes on and on. If you love Houston and love to write, why not combine your talent and interest by joining us?

All you need to do is drop us an e-mail at jim(at)houstonist(dot)com and let us know some things about yourself and why you'd be a good fit with us. You might also want to write up a sample post about something — we'll ask you to do it eventually, so might as well get a head start. You don't need previous experience: just an interest in all things local, a computer and the time to post twice or three times a week. Couldn't be easier, right? Get after it. We're looking forward to hearing from you.
