A local judge slapped "French Spiderman" Alain Robert with a $2,000 fine for trying to climb a downtown skyscraper in November.
Robert, who has climbed tall buildings all over the world, barely even got off the ground at One Houston Center on Nov. 22. Police had apparently heard he was planning to scale the skyscraper, so they were waiting for him. Later, they charged him for carrying the prescription drug Xanax, but it turns out he had a prescription for the drug so the charge was dropped. After his first court appearance in late November, Robert said he won't try to climb in Houston again. Can you blame him?
