When Charlie Sexton hit the Top 40 at age 17 in 1986 with “Beat’s So Lonely,” he was raved to be the next big star. That didn’t quite happen, but after a successful stint with the Arc Angels in the 90’s, he’s back with his most mature solo album to date, Cruel and Gentle Things.
