North Houston man run over — twice

041006_lawnmower.jpgSo one poor guy in north Houston was run over while pushing his lawnmower last nighttwice.

The 60-year-old man was pushing his lawnmower across Homestead near Mohawk at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday when a car ran over him and the driver didn't stop. (Maybe he thought he was going to be robbed, like a certain plastic surgeon.) Then an SUV came along and ran over the man again — but that driver pulled over and called the police.

The man was taken to Ben Taub with leg, head and arm injuries. He's now on life support, KPRC reported. Police are still looking for the hit-and-run driver, who was driving a dark-colored Buick.
