Tropical Fruit? Armed and Dangerous, We Tell You!

Houston police are peering around for the peeping tom recently spotted in southwest Houston, and they’ve got a fruity lead. A civic-minded resident of the complex posted a warning to neighbors after a man was seen around 4:15 AM Tuesday, seeing what he could see through second floor windows.

We’ve all got a fight or flight instinct: this guy, apparently, has both. Upon being spotted, he ran, but first? Why, he threw the nearest object at his pursuer. Naturally. Of course, what happened to be at hand was a papaya, which missed, instead hitting a wall.

According to the Chronicle, An officer at one HPD station opined that it “wasn’t surprising that the investigating officer took the papaya into custody”.

No word on whether or not it resisted arrest.
