Wednesday
Time will tell if Hoobastank will be able to avoid the sophomore-slump, or if they will be singing “The Reason” at bar mitvahs for years to come. They’ll be previewing their upcoming CD Everyman for Himself tonight.

Thursday
Two Mat(t)s for the price of one. Matt Wertz just finished opening up for Jamie Cullum on the West Coast. The Kansas City native is touring with Mat Kearny. They both sing lovely pop songs that will make the girls swoon.

Friday
The Meridian is celebrating their 2nd anniversary by going back to the big craze of eight years ago – swing. The Royal Crown Revue. Several other bands, including local guys Clouseaux, will be joining the line-up. The show, and beer, is cheap – that's Houstonist's type of show.

Saturday
Support your local alternative (and we mean real alternative) college radio by attending the KTRU Annual Outdoor Show on the Rice campus. The whole shabang begins at 11 a.m., includes local bands like Moxie, and ends with Chicago’s Sam Prekop.
