The Real Cause of Astros Relief Woes?

astroimageA lot of people have been trying to figure out what has happened to our beloved Astros' relief pitching. It's a little hard to win a game when you keep giving up runs in the ninth. Seriously, is someone poisoning the water?

Houstonist has a theory.

At the game on Wednesday we noticed someone in the bullpen, which is conveniently next to the 9 Amigos restaurant, retrieving a tray full of soda. We thought athletes drank water and Powerade (maybe not David Wells). But the Astros relievers were clearly getting sodas.

Ezequiel Astacio, who loaded the bases without getting an out in the ninth, clearly got himself a dark soda. Was it a coke? Crown and Coke? We wonder. Also, can't they install a dumbwaiter? All that stretching could lead to an injury.
