STORMS A'COMING

Heads up. We're under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 6:03 pm, and we should be past that. Risks include hail, lightining, wind and the such.

The text from the NWS:

AT 514 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
CLUSTER OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS GENERALLY EXTENDING ALONG THE
NORTHWEST PORTION OF BELTWAY 8. THESE STORMS CONTINUE TO PRODUCE
LARGE DAMAGING HAIL UP TO GOLFBALL SIZE. THE STORMS ARE MOVING
SOUTHEAST AT 10 MPH AND WILL LIKELY AFFECT MOST OF THE HOUSTON METRO
AREA.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
HOUSTON METRO INSIDE BELTWAY 8...
ALDINE...
SPRING VALLEY...
DOWNTOWN HOUSTON...
THE MEDICAL CENTER...

PLEASE REPORT SEVERE WEATHER TO THE COUNTY SHERIFF...LOCAL POLICE...
OR DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY. THEY WILL RELAY YOUR REPORT TO THE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE.
