Join the Houstonist Flickr Group

Views from my mirrorIf you're like Houstonist, you travel everywhere with a camera. And, being like Houstonist, you love to share your photos with everyone (and bad jokes). Now you have a chance to exchange your shots of the Houston lifestyle with other Houstonians through the Houstonist Flickr Group.

If you aren't familiar with Flickr, it's a wonderful free site that allows you to upload, edit and share your pictures with others (without having to sign up to view). It also allows you to join photo groups and contribute your photos to a pool, like the Houstonist pool. If we like the picture, we'll post it on the site and give you credit (for instance, the shot above is from Flickr user paper_by_design who is the first Houstonist group contributor and a great photographer from The Woodlands.

Just a few rules after the jump:

1. Have fun with your photos.
2. Make sure you have the right to redistribute the photos (i.e., you or your friend took them).
3. Try to keep them to Houston or Houston related subjects.
4. Nothing you wouldn't show your 16 year-old sister.
5. Understand that we may print them on the site.

That's it. Please Join!
