Katy/West Loop ramps to close tonight

Were you thinking Katy Freeway closures were only done on the weekend? Ha, think again — here are a few closures set to begin today:

• The ramp from the West Loop northbound to the Katy Freeway westbound and will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly today through May 19. Detour by exiting to the Katy eastbound, then exiting Washington/Westcott and U-turning to I-10 west.

• The ramp from the westbound Katy Freeway to the West Loop southbound will also be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. today through May 19. Detour by exiting to the West Loop northbound, then exiting 18th Street and U-turning to 610 south.
