Rice, UH Set to Play Ball Tonight

Houstonist is a cheerleader for our local teams and what could be better than a local college team in the top 20? Well, how about two local college teams ranked in the top 20?

Rice (1) and the University of Houston (14) are both ranked in the top 20 in ESPN's current Baseball America poll and they hook up for three important Conference USA games tonight, Saturday and Sunday at Rice's Reckling Park.

Rice, a perennial college baseball powerhouse, stands in the way of UH and it's return to prominance in college baseball. It is expected to be a hotly-contested series and should be a lot of fun to watch, especially considering the great weather Houston is having.
