Can we still use our TV trays?

060518-tvdinner.jpgAnother star is born in Houston: this time, it’s a frozen food prep-er. Over the weekend, The Food Network taped an episode of “The Secret Life Of..." at A Freezable Feast, a local business that allows customers to prepare multiple meals, then package and freeze them to cook at a later date.

The concept has been catching on around the country over the past few years. Similar businesses, like Village Table, are providing the same services for busy families. Since time has become even more of a commodity for most people, these meal preparation sites offer a healthier alternative to fast food and TV dinners.

The episode featuring Houston’s A Freezable Feast is titled “"The Secret Life of Quick Fix Foods" (you didn’t know that “quick fix foods” had secret lives, did you?). The episode will air sometime this summer; no official date has been set, yet.
