Houston wins again?

We all know about being fat and dirty, but now Houston has won the prestigious title of "hardest city to navigate" in a recent survey conducted by Mapquest. According to the Chronicle, Houston's large number of master planned communities, non grid-like streets, and street name changes make for a hard time driving.

Some personal favorite linear name changes include Westheimer-Elgin-Lockwood, Beechnut-Braeswood-MacGregor, and Bellaire-West Holcombe-Holcombe-Old Spanish Trail-South Wayside-Wayside-North Wayside. Whew.

Note that the survey "didn't ask for specifics, so all they know is that Houston had the largest percentage of respondents saying they got lost in their hometown." Doesn't that automatically put Houston on another special kind of list?
