The coloration on this shot, or the "nebula" as the photographer calls it, is fantastic. The story that goes along with it is also great:
"This is The Waterwall in Houston adn the spot where I proposed to my wife. The Waterwall sits at the end of a small park that is really the backyard for the Tower-Formerly-Known-As-Transco (now Williams Tower). It's a well known landmark to Houstonians. At 10 pm the lights and water shut off, but there's enough water at the top to continue to trickle down for about 20 minutes.
This photo was taken a few months after our actual engagement on a warm and steamy Houston night. The yellow haze is the light of the Galleria area lighting the fog and low flying clouds like some kind of nebula.
Thanks to my trusty tripod I was able to get this shot: exposure of 2 seconds, aperture f/3.5, at ISO 100. That's what enables all the light to show evenly with the little blury people as they move about during the exposure. I am still learning to master such things. :) "
