Houstonis is a big fan of weather, so the coming storm indicated by the coloration in the foreground and the cumulonimbus in the background gets us in a big way. This is especially appropriate today and may be a good reminder of what we still have to expect. Oh happy rainy day!

"Taken from my car as I drove down Beltway 8 just before the 290 interchange headed towards downtown Houston. Probably not the safest thing in the world for me to do, but the clouds looked so gorgeous as the sun was setting to the west & the storm was brewing to the east that I couldn't resist taking a picture. "
