Do you love Houston? Do you have a camera? If you answered "Yes" to both of those questions, you're in luck. Houstonist and Houston Photobloggers are holding their first ever photo contest with the theme "What I Love About Houston." Just snap a photo of your favorite aspect of Houston, write a short caption explaining why, and you could be featured on Houstonist and Houston Photobloggers. But that's not all, the Grand Prize winner will win a Holga Lomo camera and film, with gift certificates to the Camera Co-Op for second and third places.

Theme: What I Love About Houston
Parameters: One photo + at least 50 words of text about what you love about Houston.
Date: between 1:00 am June 23 and 11:59 pm July 7
How to Submit: Join the Houstonist Flickr Group and add your photo to the contest pool or send your photo and caption to HoustonPhotoContest@gmail.com.
Rules: The photo must be yours, the picture must be taken in the Houston area and should not be a montage.
Rights: By submitting the photo to the contest you are giving Houstonist and Houston Photobloggers the right to publish the photo on the website with proper credit.
Prizes:
Grand Prize - A brand new Holga Camera + color and B&W film. Photo and photographer featured on houstonist & houston photobloggers
Second Place - $20 gift certificate from the Camera Co-op and shot featured on the websites.
Third Place - $10 gift certificate from the Camera Co-op and shotfeatured on the websites.
