Search Intensified for Missing Fort Bend Couple

311xInlineGallery.jpgThe search for the Houston-area couple who went missing after being carjacked this week has reached a new level of intensity as more and more people (civillian voulenteers, Houston cops, and Texas Rangers) join the search for Maria Chrisalee (Salee) Aparace, 23,and her 17 year old boyfriend, Huy Ngo. The two were carjacked, but the perpatrators, one of whom has been apprehended, swear they left them unharmed on the side of the road. Nevertheless, neither has been seen. Ngo was scheduled to drive out to California starting on Wednesday, but nobody--neither his Houston nor his LA-area relatives--has heard from him.

The crime came to the attention fo the authorities when Aparese's car was involved in an attempted kidnapping. However, she was nowhere to be found, and the search for her led to evidence of the carjacking as well as her disappearance, along with leading to arrrests in several crimes: some officials even believe that Aparace and Ngo were caught in the crossfire of a crime spree.
