New KRBE morning show announced

With the fire still smoldering from Atom Smasher and Maria Todd’s ousting from KRBE last Friday, their replacements are now official: Roula & Ryan. The announcement was made this morning by Roula on channel 11's Great Day Houston. The show wil debut on Monday, the 24th.

The Roula & Ryan show was last heard on Mix 96.5 last year. Their firing from the revolving radio doors was to make way for the current Sam Malone show. Since they left, their hard core fans have been flooding Roula & Ryan’s website with pleas to return to the Houston airwaves. Not everybody in the industry agrees.

Ryan Chase has been in Houston radio on and off for 15 years, with stints at the legendary KROQ in L.A. and The Edge in Dallas. Roula Christie is a local girl who fell into radio on accident, after delivering food from her family’s restaurant to KRBE. We expect to see a lot of KRBE-related radio bigwigs enjoying their free dinners at Christie’s now.
