The awesome at-work timewaster that is the Official Google Blog tells us that they've found a new use for the Google Earth program, which is already contributing to the online community by making stalking easier. (It lets you enter any address on Earth — and then shows you the actual house. Houstonist's ninth-grade crush, for example, lives in a pink brick two story at the corner of ... uh, never mind.)

In any case, now you can use Google Earth to track the Tour de France. A link on the Tour's official website allows you to follow along the routes in one of several languages. Be sure to check out the tilt feature, so you really get a sense of the hills. Sure beats watching it on TV.
