I have no complaints about the service. The internet is fast and reliable, I haven't had a problem with the cable since I moved here two years ago. I like their On Demand offerings, and they seem pretty responsive to adding channels that people ask for. I'm actually considering adding their phone service, as well. I imagine that will be coming to Houston if TWC didn't offer it already.

Personally, I am relieved to hear this. We have Road Runner internet at home and it hasn't worked most of the month of July. Every time we call they say, "Oh, we'll send a technician out. The first slots we have open are in five (or six) days." Obviously, we aren't the only ones who are having problems with their service and hopefully Comcast can provide steady internet better than Time Warner.

I admit, I'm really nervous about this. I have heard less than stellar things about Comcast, although I'm sure people could say the same for Time Warner. I personally have had very little problem with them. I just don't want disruptions to my cable or high speed internet! I'm an addict.

Thanks for the Boston info. I was going by the pricing that was listed on their website, after entering in a Boston zip code. Any feedback you can give us about their service and what to expect?

You're wrong about the prices in Boston. I live in Boston and have Comcast cable and internet. It's $49.40 for Standard cable, plus $4.75 for a box, if you need one. Internet is $42.95.
