Hot yacht

081006_minnow.jpgSure, we've all heard about the things thieves will do to disguise a stolen car — but how do you hide a stolen yacht? That's the question some bandits are probably asking themselves after stealing a $300,000 yacht from a dealership in Seabrook on Tuesday night.

According to the 11 News Blog, the boat was taken from Texas Sports Fishing & Yacht Sales; a witness said two vehicles were on the lot Monday night — we guess they must have been suspicious vehicles, or else that was a piece of information that really has nothing to do with the boat theft at all. Gary Morris, the owner of the boat store, said the stolen yacht should be pretty easy to spot:

"There's very few that have ever been built that are just all white, white top, no stripes on the outside and there is a round sport fishing sticker on each side towards the back, but they're probably gone now."

We bet Morris is wishing there was a LoJack for boats right about now. According to KHOU, this is the second time this year that thieves have hit the business.
