Forgot Junior's Birthday? Never Fear!

We're not sure if this goes under "dumb criminals" or "inventive ways to avoid shopping at Toys R Us", but either way KHOU is reporting that someone burglarized the toy machine at the Global Washeteria in the wee hours of this morning, around 2:55 AM. A witness noticed the male suspect walk across the street from an adjacent apartment compex to the Washeteria, where he broke the window and scaled burglar bars to get inside. He then "ripped open" a claw-machine game, took a teddy bear, and ran back across the street.

We're not exactly sure how you rip open one of those games (Heck, we can't even get them to give us a teddy bear the legal way. Those claws are hard to manipulate!), but either way the suspect got away with his dastardly crime: he was never found.

Here's hoping that teddy, at least, gets some love.
