We wanted to feature some live performances from Houston on our weekly music video posts, but we realized that good live amateur footage was hard to find. In most cases, the music isn't audible and the videographer is so far from the stage that the artist is just a spec.
However, we did run into this decent footage of Imogen Heap performing "Hide and Seek" live this past May at one of our favorite venues, Warehouse Live. The English performer is classically trained in many instruments, including the piano, cello, and marimba. Her use of the vocoder is what makes this song great – adding multiple layers on her voice and instruments.
