Houstonist Weather Watch - 9/18

Today and Tonight

Expect rain through this afternoon, especially to the south and west of I-10 and I-45. Rain should diminish by this evening for most places with only a few lingering showers. Highs should reach into the mid 80's except for those areas that experience significant rain.

Tuesday through Thursday

You won't need a coat, but you'll feel a relative chill in the morning as the temperatures drop into lower-to-mid 60's overnight. Afternoon temperatures should be comfortable in the mid 80's, climbing to the lower 90's by Thursday.

Weekend

The best chance this rain for weekend is Friday, about 40%, as temperatures reach more seasonal levels. This weekend you should expect an isolated shower or thunderstorm Saturday morning. After that it will be partly cloudy with with lows in the upper 60's and highs in the upper 80's. Pretty standard, really.
