Astros playoff tix on sale this morning

092806_astros.jpgJust last week, Houstonist attended an Astros game and thought to ourselves, "Well, this is fun and all, but too bad it doesn't matter much anymore this season." So yeah, we're a little amazed — but really, really excited — about the 'Stros comeback, especially after last night's 15-inning win. And not to jinx anything, but even as we speak, playoff tickets are going on sale to the general public over at the Astros' website (they'll go on sale at Minute Maid at 9 a.m.). And as of now, you can still get your hands on tickets at face value — but who knows how long they'll last:

"We have tickets available," said Bill Goren with the Astros. "Based on demand, they are going to go fast, so I would suggest getting online or coming to the box office and make that your first priority."

Prices are $20 for the mezzanine and view deck, $25 for the bullpen and terrace deck and $50 for club level, dugout, field box and Crawford box seats (check out a seating map for Minute Maid Park if you're not familiar). Remember, there's an eight ticket per game limit. Good luck, and go 'Stros!
