Friday Afternoon Videos: Green Day & U2

We thought it would be appropriate to feature Monday night's performance of Green Day and U2 at the Superdome's official re-opening in New Orleans, since we have many Louisiana residences here in Houston. Plus, since we're one day from October, Billie Joe Armstrong singing "Wake Me Up When September Ends" seems fitting, too.

The performance itself was average. The duet between Bono and Billie Joe singing "The Saints are Coming" was interesting, but the bands performing each other's hits lacked the perfection you usually get from these established artists.

So, here's to you New Orleans. Now we're wondering when Houston is going to get its tribute show...
