Greek Festival begins Thursday

100306_greek.jpgHouston's 40th Greek Festival commences this Thursday at 5 pm at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral complex.

There will be plenty of food, ranging from dolmades to loukoumades (who can resist hot honey puffs?!), and entertainment will include Greek dance performances, and music by Alex Kalos, the "Golden Greek." There will also be crafts and gifts for sale, as well as tours of the cathedral.

Don't forget that METRO will be offering free shuttle service to the festival from Lamar High School (where parking will be free, as well).
