How can you resist loving this beautiful shot of a Gulf Fritillary butterfly? We've seen many of these over the years, but never knew what they were — turns out the Gulf Fritillary is found from Argentina up through Central America and Mexico and into the southern and southwestern U.S.; it gets its name from the fact that the butterflies are sometimes seen migrating over the Gulf of Mexico.
