Friday Afternoon Videos: Virtual Insanity

One of the most fascinating videos to come out of the 90’s was Jamiroquai’s “Virtaul Insanity.” Directed by Jonathan Glazer, the video won many awards in 1997.

Staged in an empty room, sometimes with a couch or two, it seems that the floor underneath Jay Kay’s is a moving sidewalk – in a directions. In actuality, the floor is stationary, only the walls move. The camera is also stationary, and placed in the front wall. Here are more details on the making of the video.
