The shot from flickr user and Houstonist photo contributor Matt Riggs.
A note from the photographer regarding his shot of, what was, the vista of the Warwick Hotel (now Hotel Zaza):
"Me and my friend went to the Warwick before it closed and talked someone into giving us a tour. Everyone there was really bummed that it was going to be changed into the Zaza and so are we. We hope nothing happens to the many antiques that filled the hotel."
We're bummed to, though we like what they've done with the website...

so- judging from ZaZa's web site...it's going to be a whorehouse???
We hope nothing happens to the many antiques that filled the hotel.
They were all auctioned off — part of the Dallasination of the hotel, I guess.
