Hey, so brr — it's kinda chilly outside this morning, at least for Houston: 48 degrees at Intercontinental Airport even as we speak. It's kinda nice, unless you happen to be a big fan of 100-degree weather (and we're not). But no matter what kind of weather you like, there should be something for you this week:
Today and Tuesday
Looks like today will be one of those days that makes us jealous of our friends out in California — jealous, we mean, for the weather that they have, not the earthquakes, wildfires, riots and floods. Today's high should be 72, with plenty of sunshine, dropping to 50 overnight. Tomorrow, things will start changing, but should still be decent: increasing clouds with an afternoon high around 76 and a low in the mid 60s.
Wednesday and Thursday
Expect rain in the middle of the week, especially Wednesday, when we'll see a high of 80 and a 60 percent chance of rain. Our next cool front should move through on Thursday — slightly less of a chance of rain then, but the high will be a humid 78.
Weekend
OK, so it won't be a good front, but at least it'll be sunny for a while: Starting on Friday, expect a few days of sun, with highs in the mid-to-upper 70s and lows around 60. It should be a nice weekend overall: The next chance of rain doesn't come until the middle of next week, so enjoy.
