We can’t think of a more appropriate video for now other than "Thriller". Sure, you’ve seen it a million times over the years, but we have the full 14 minute video for you – a nostalgic trip down memory lane back to the days when Michael Jackson seemed so normal.
This was the last video and single released from the best selling non-greatest-hits album of all time, Thriller. Directed by John Landis, it became the most expensive and longest music video of its time. The clip won many awards for directing, choreography, and make-up for the zombies. Michael did not win any awards for acting, however (but he should have won one for that old cool zipper-filled red jacket).
The song itself hasn’t stood the test of time as much as other Jackson classics (which is probably why it was the seventh release from the album and not the first), but the narrative from Vincent Price at the end makes the song worthwhile. Happy Halloween!

Wow -- and I thought I knew music trivia! I can only assume that you're stats are right, but the only one I question is this: according to Billboard (which is the king of chart statistics), "Billie Jean" was at #1 for 7 weeks while "Beat It" was #1 for 3 weeks. Still, chart history in the 80's was amazing.
It'll be interesting to see how his new album does next year. With all of his scandals, he'll have a tough road ahead of him in the U.S.
