Culinary Event: A Toast to the Animals

Houstonist likes pets and pet charities (animals in general - really. Well, iffy on the reptiles - that's just us). We advocate promoting pet adoption, spaying/neutering or just hooking up a homeless pet with a meal, worthy causes, all. To that end, we are bringing to your attention a wine and warm fuzzy event benefiting animals. Houston PetSet, along with the Houston Humane Society, is hosting a wine tasting at The Tasting Room Midtown on November 10th.

The cost to attend, a fair and reasonable $30/per person. A champagne reception kicks off the event and the tasting will be guided by a sommelier (so we simple folk don't get lost in the varietal jungle that is the wine world). Purchase tickets by phoning 713.433.6241 or by e-mailing The Humane Society, please be sure to mention Toast to the Animals in the subject line.
