This is one of our favorite signs in Houston, and we're glad to see it getting some flickr love. It's the neon creation on the Washington Avenue side of the Pig Stand, which has been serving up diner food since 1924. In case you wondered, you probably have seen that sign somewhere before — maybe in The Evening Star or Reality Bites? And yeah, there's a lot to be said for the Pig Stand's diner hamburgers and thick milkshakes.
If you've got a camera, and you love Houston, consider joining Houston's best photographers in the Houstonist Flickr Photo Group. Also, check out the Houston Photobloggers for some more great photography.
