So, did you enjoy the perfect fall days we had this weekend? Chilly nights, sunny, cool days — it's Houstonist's favorite time of year. If you liked it, too, you'll have a good time this week: There's more on the way.
Today and Tuesday
Today should be much like yesterday, but cloudier. Expect a high near 70 this afternoon, with temperatures falling back into the low 60s tonight. Early Tuesday morning, a warm front will bring a south wind and a warmup: Look for temps in the low 80s on Tuesday afternoon, with clouds breaking up just after lunch. There'll be a very slight chance of showers in the next couple of days, too, but most of us probably won't see any rain.
Wednesday and Thursday
Tuesday night, another cool front comes through, bringing a better chance of rain (but most of it should hit after midnight, so chances are it won't be a problem). Wednesday and Thursday should be identical beautiful, fall-like days, with highs around 70, lows in the mid-40s and plenty of sun. There'll also be gusty north winds, which aren't always so pleasant.
Weekend
Overall, the weekend looks good: Very little chance of rain, ample sun, moderate temperatures. Friday and Saturday will be warmer — but not hot by any means — with highs in the mid-70s; by Sunday, another cool front will bring an afternoon high of 65. Weekend lows should stay in the lower 50s. Overall, not too bad, eh? Welcome to fall. Finally.
