Unclaimed $18M lotto ticket sold in Angleton

111406_lotto.jpgDid you play the lottery Saturday? Check your ticket — if your numbers were 10-27-42-43-47-52, you're $18 million dollars richer. Officials know someone picked those numbers on a ticket purchased at an Angleton convenience store, but they don't know who it was: The winner hasn't come forward yet.

The winning ticket was bought at the Handi Plus gas station and store at Highway 288 and Highway 35. The store's owners, Shuju Feng and Xin Lu, said they sell quite a few lotto tickets a day: "We sell up to 500 or 600 lottery tickets a day," Feng said Monday. "People come in here because we have good barbecue and we have a nice, clean store." Feng and Lu will get 1 percent of the winnings — about $180,000 — for selling the winning ticket. "We can pay it on the loan we owe to buy this place, and even that won't pay it all," Feng said.

If you have the winning lotto numbers, you have 180 days to claim the jackpot.
