No, you're not on acid. This is real. Created by Jo Anne Fleischhauer, the Parasol Project is an art installation here in Houston. The idea is to bring a new atmosphere to Houston's historic Foley House. The Downtown Houston Alliance has the information on their website. The Houston Chronicle also has a storyabout the colorful goings on downtown.

According to the Chron: "One of Parasol Project's themes is based on the idea that a house is the repository for a family's secrets, dreams and emotions. Because only one family lived in the house, its imprint seemed even stronger to Fleischhauer."
