Few things are going down in Houston this week, but never fear! Our fair citizens are always capable of finding love (and subsequently missing it) in the mundane!
EZ Tag Store -- Wednesday Afternoon
You work at the EZ Tag Store. I'm not going to say which one. I figure if you noticed me I won't need to spell it out. I was there at the end of the day at about 4:30p to get a sticker. I am tall and wore a blue jacket and black pants. It was hard for me to take my eyes off you. You have a figure that his hard to beat. I think you saw me starting at you. If you are even looking at this I know you are probably interested. On a long shot I'd just like to email you and if you are interested, meet for a drink sometime. And if other people that were there are reading this, well let them. No need to be shy; I think people should meet if they have some magnetism. If the magnetism is strong enough they should at least communicate.
As ecstatic as we are that people can find love doing something as mundane as buying a toll tag, our joy is overshadowed by the thinly veiled paranoia prevalent in this post. Some advice: don't let your neurotic side show until at least the third date.
I am attracted to my neighbor
Oh well...
Don't give up! This is the stuff crappy Lifetime movies are made of! Er... [changes channel]... not that we'd know.
geek at the bus stop
i was turning off the beltway when you caught my eye. you're like over six feet tall, blonde and gorgeous, wearing a light yellow striped polo shirt, short-sleeved, jeans and converse. from where i sat transfixed, the sun caught something on your chest and it beamed it to me. i was squinting so hard to see what it was, and then i realized it was your pocket protector! i made an attempt to drive around the block so that i could offer you a ride. alas, you were gone! i wish i could've shown you my pocket protector cuz I believe they may be identical.
Awe, geek love is love we can get behind. Although, if he begins communicating with you in HTML format, it might be time to rethink your priorities.
Found Key
Found gray Acura car key in Spec's (downtown) parking lot on 11-13-16.
This guy is really going the distance to try to reconnect the key-owner with the key. No word yet on whether taking out a missed connection is a better means to that end than just dropping it off at the nearest lost and found.
