Houstonist Flickr Photo of the Day - Street Blues

We know we've seen that sign before, but we can't figure out where. Any guesses? We're thinking downtown off of Main somewhere. Wherever it is, it is an excellent example of the kind of great photography people are accomplishing in the Houston area.

Ignoring the perfectly simple composition and excellent framing, this shot captures the subject at just the right moment. One look at that face and you can hear the raspy blues pouring out of this musician's voice. Also, swish vest.
