Church Falls Prey to Thief

Mills Road Baptist Church sign KPRC is reporting that an individual burglarized and vandalized the Christian United People's Center off of Telephone Road in southeast Houston last night. The crook ransacked church offices and, for some reason, attacked a Coca-Cola machine.

According to the church, approximately $100 in cash from a choir collection and Bible study was stolen. The burglar reportedly left behind his jacket. We hope it was a nice jacket, like one worth more than a $100 in cash and the cost of replacing a soda machine. Maybe it was a Member's Only jacket.

We pine for the days when people just held up liqour stores.
