This week in local music, you can catch the Woodlands native Hayes Carll as he croons and makes the women swoon at two shows at the Duck. One of our local favorites, Spain Colored Orange, opens for Mates of State at Numbers.

The one touring act not to miss this week is Death Cab for Cutie at the Hobby Center. OK Go opens up for them, but we’re not sure if the theater will allow them to bring in their treadmills or not. KRBE’s annual Jingle Jam features Fall Out Boy, Frankie J, Natasha Bedingfield, and others Saturday night.
