Beyonce Getting Hitched, Jillary Not...

12062006_beyonce.jpgBeyonce is all over the news again. There are reports that she’s jealous over her “Dreamgirls” co-star Jennifer Hudson. And from what Beyonce said to defend herself, it sounds like she really is barely jealous at all. (Please note the sarcasm.)

"I'm already a star. I already have nine Grammys. Everyone knows I can sing," Knowles said. "I did this because I wanted people to know that I can act and I can play someone so different from myself."

So, what about the rumors of jealousy towards Hudson? "It's really unfortunate that everyone is saying I'm jealous of Jennifer. It hurts my heart because it's so clichéd. … They're saying that I'm mad when I knew going into this that I was playing Deena," said Knowles. "Because I'm a star they just automatically assume that I'm not humble enough to sit down and take a back seat, which I am."

“I mean,” said Knowles, “I wish I could have gained 20 pounds and played Effie.”

Ouch.

12062006_hilaryjoel.jpgThe big news though are the rumors that Beyonce and her long time whatever-you-want-to-call-him, Jay-Z, are getting hitched. Some elusive insiders are reporting that the 4-day-long birthday bash Mamma-B is throwing for Daddy-J is really is a wedding. Of course there are always rumors of a wedding for these two. We wish they would just get their marriage on already!

And in (very) old celebrity-from-Houston news, Hillary Duff and Good Charlotte front man Joel Madden split up. Which means that the next time we’re at the River Oaks Target and spot a pale, dark-haired tatted up rock guy, it’ll be a safe assumption that it wasn’t a celebrity sighting.
