College hoops heavyweights visit Houston as the University of Texas Longhorns take on the LSU Tigers this Sunday at Toyota Center in a rematch of a 2006 Elite Eight pairing.
The 9th ranked Tigers pull into town fresh off their Texas A&M victory. The Aggies were bested as they visited the Tigers at home on Tuesday. LSU was led by a newly svelte, think skinny Shaq, Glenn "Big Baby" Davis who posted a double-double with 24 points and 10 boards.
The Longhorns look for revenge and a path to the polls with an upset. The Horns posted a sterling 30-7 record last year to set the single season victory record at UT. LSU stopped the dream season when it ousted Texas, a #2 Seed, during Elite Eight play in the NCAA tourney earlier this year.
Bet on the match up to feature traveling fans and local alumni from both schools. The real question is who will Aggie fans cheer for: the team that just bested them or the tea-sips?
