Remember that infamous incident at Walter's on Washington back in October? Well, it hasn't gone away yet: The court date for three San Francisco musicians and a Houston audience member was reset today for Jan. 9, so we'll have to wait a while longer to see how things turn out.
There have been several different versions of what happened at Walter's during the Two Gallants show Oct. 13, but what's known is that HPD Officer Gabriel M. Rodriguez responded to a noise complaint and used his Taser several times — you can see Rodriguez and some Walter's patrons, uh, interacting on YouTube. Two Gallants drummer Tyson Vogel and Houstonian Gregory Johnson, who was attending the show, were charged with interfering with the duties of a public servant, while Trainwreck Riders guitarist Andrew Kerwin and bassist Sean Kohler were charged with resisting arrest or search.
The defendants won't be required to show up for the January hearing, where the charges will be dropped or the cases set for trial, Two Gallants manager Dan Kasin told the Chronicle.
