Get your party on (don't forget the party attire - bling your way to midnight) to the works of the serious-looking guy on the left - the serious ones are the real party animals! Ars Lyrica is hosting "Biber, Bach & Bubbly" at Zilkha Hall in the Hobby Center, beginning at 9 p.m., New Year's Eve. Bach Brandenburg Concertos III and V, plus Non sa che sia dolore, animal (animal - see, it's the serious ones!) music from the Austrian Baroque (Bach was German), plus an apres-concert champagne reception, silent auction and fireworks on the roof of the Hobby Center (we're guessing no one will be singing that song about the roof on fire). For more information, phone 713.315.2525. Ticket prices are $25/adult performance only, $15/student performancy only, $20/KUHF or Senior performance only, $20/reception only and $45/VIP (includes both the performance and reception).
