Party Like It's 1739 - Biber, Bach and Bubbly

Get your party on (don't forget the party attire - bling your way to midnight) to the works of the serious-looking guy on the left - the serious ones are the real party animals! Ars Lyrica is hosting "Biber, Bach & Bubbly" at Zilkha Hall in the Hobby Center, beginning at 9 p.m., New Year's Eve. Bach Brandenburg Concertos III and V, plus Non sa che sia dolore, animal (animal - see, it's the serious ones!) music from the Austrian Baroque (Bach was German), plus an apres-concert champagne reception, silent auction and fireworks on the roof of the Hobby Center (we're guessing no one will be singing that song about the roof on fire).
