Weekend Blogwatch: Save The Assistants

Houstonist prides itself on...well...actually, we're not sure pride's the right word, but we sure do waste a ton of time on the internet--even on weekends when we could be out enjoying the newly-saved park. Or buying some tasty pizza with the pesos we found on our floor

Instead, we're here in front of the screen, sharing with you one of our favorite blogs (something we actually plan on doing every week!).

This week's offering comes to us courtesy of Lilit Marcus, who's musings on Texas and the South you may remember. Currently she's working on her newest project, Save The Assistants. Filled with reader-submitted horror stories of being a peon in various industries (we especially like the tales of substance-influenced Blackberry usage!), it's a great place to passive-agressively waste time at work. Even though it only launched recently, the site's already been featured on Gawker and on Washington-gossip blog Wonkette.

So check out The Bossary and see where yours fits, and while you're at it, why not submit your own tale? The site welcomes contributions, and with the number of hits it's getting, you too could have a very small slice of internet fame.
