FYI, the Houston Calling happy hour tonight has been canceled due to weather (got an email from David Cobb stating that about an hour ago).

big ups to the MFAH for these events, ain't nothing like drinking and dancing to big time sounds , AND getting your art on with the artsies. i only missed 1 last year (sorry OBEY). guaranteed good time, here's the scoop on flosstradamus:

Our boys in Flosstradamous throw the type of parties where people lose their sh*t so uncontrollably, it's like a spastic's convention. They also know their way around a mash-up, as their fierce, fearless new mix CD shows. Like Hollertronix before them, they rip up hip-hop into everything they can get their hands on -- you need to hear their Twista/Sigur Ros jam. Here's them taking Bloc Party's "Heliocopter" on a trip being led by David Banner, Lil' Wayne, Dem Franchise Boys and freaking L Trimm.

That sounds awesome. iam really glad there is a site like this in Houston. i'am new to Houston and so glad to see that there is so many things to do and see. This MFHA sounds like a good mix of people. I will be there. More people in Houston need to read your site and be in touch with their own city. I hear a lot from other people that there is not much going on in Houston.....HELLO Houston OPEN YOUR EYES AND READ THE HOUSTONIST. DONT Be that person!!!!!

Keep up the good work Monica...thanks for caring about H town.
